Net Impact Event

Net Impact Approaches: Bringing the strands together

Wednesday 24th May 2017

The aim of this one day event is to bring together for the first time the many different players involved in net impact approaches to explore the synergies and methodologies, and investigate how can efforts be scaled up. By net impact we mean evaluating the positive and negative effects of business in relation to sustainability. This includes amongst other things:

  • Net Positive / Net Gain
  • No Net Loss / Net zero
  • Integrated Profit & Loss Accounts / Total Contribution
  • Environmental & Social Profit & Loss Accounts
  • Creating Shared Value
  • Impact Investing
  • Integrated Reporting

With measuring impacts (environmental and social) at the heart of Net Impact Approaches, this is set to become a core sustainability topic of the future.

We have a fantastic line-up of over 20 thought-leaders presenting at what will be a hugely insightful day. They will be sharing their views and experience on the matter, with plenty of great case studies. This includes speakers from supporting organisations and many other leading multinationals and key organisations, such as:

  • Kering
  • LafargeHolcim
  • Nestlé
  • ASN Bank
  • BASF
  • IIRC
  • PwC

Organised by Sustain Value and Consciam, the conference has the backing and support of the Natural Capital Coalition, Social Value UK/International, Forum for the Future, BBOP, IUCN, WBCSD, ICRS, IEMA and others.

Unfortunately we have one change to the previosuly announced agenda – Nick Barter of Defra will not be able to speak due to the General Election that has been called in the UK.

Do book soon as there is much interest and limited space.

For further information on the conference and a list of organisations/speakers involved, please see Sustain Value’s website. Updates to speakers and the conference agenda will be posted to that site over the coming weeks.

The conference will aim to be a net positive event, working in collaboration with ClimateCare.

We will be hosted by 15 Hatfields, in central London, one of the UK’s most sustainable venues. Vegetarian food will be available but if you have any specific dietary requirements please contact the event organisers.

By registering for this event you agree to the terms and conditions for this event, which can be found here.
