Strathclyde Institute for Future Cities, Jacobs and the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development present a half day conference on the issue of smart mobility within cities.
Issues of urban mobility, sustainable transport and air quality are increasingly becoming the focus for cities as they strive to deliver effective accessible and affordable multi-modal travel options, reduce and manage goods delivery movements, and overall improve standards of urban air quality and road safety.
This half day conference will hear presentations from a range of organisations from both the public and private sectors who are tackling these issues, including mobility as a service; smart ticketing; and route and goods transport optimisation: plus case studies from a range of UK cities and a global perspective from the Institute for Future Cities.
The event is being hosted at the University of Strathclyde, City Observatory – housed in the University Technology Innovation Centre, 99 George street, Glasgow, G1 1RD. Time: 13:00 – 16:30h
